Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Logistics Supervisor to join our team at Ryder's Supply Chain Solutions division in Northlake, TX. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for supervising, coordinating, and overseeing logistics operations to ensure seamless execution of our supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate day-to-day logistics operations to meet company standards and customer service specifications.
  • Plan and review logistics processes to ensure optimal efficiency and productivity.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to coordinate activities of workers.
  • Monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive business objectives.
  • Collaborate with customers to ensure effective communication and resolution of issues.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to monitor progress, provide coaching, and recognize individual and team successes.
  • Cultivate a positive team culture and promote diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Perform performance evaluations and recommend performance awards and merit increases.
  • Address performance problems through corrective action and disciplinary processes.
  • Understand labor agreements and maintain positive labor relations.
  • Implement health and safety initiatives and adhere to company policies.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year or more experience in transportation, warehouse, or distribution environment preferred.
  • Direct supervisory/leadership experience required.
