Job Description

The System Administrator for Business Process Management will be responsible for supporting business systems such as the Sage X3 ERP system and the Korber Warehouse Advantage Warehouse Management System (WMS). This includes addressing team member business system questions, analyzing and resolving business system errors, and supporting new business system implementations and improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer-Focused Support: Provide support to customers on advanced transactions, understanding business processes and technical functionality to deliver optimal support.
  • Troubleshooting and Resolution: Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and data issues identified by team members or system errors, communicating with both technical and non-technical team members.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure data integrity by monitoring integration points and resolving issues, understanding the overall application architecture.
  • Support Data Exchanges: Assist with data exchanges with internal and external customers, resolving operational issues and testing new trading partners.
  • Business System Training: Assist with modification testing and new site implementations, training users across departments on workflow and process requirements.
  • Access Management: Maintain team member access and onboard new users.
  • Metric Reporting: Report business system support metrics and recommend potential changes for continuous improvement.
  • Data Governance: Assist in data management, governance, and data quality of master data across business systems.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, and/or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 3-5 years' experience managing business processes using an ERP or WMS application, with a detailed understanding of the application and data, or 3-5 years' experience supporting an ERP or WMS application.
  • Understanding of common business processes, including customer service, manufacturing, purchasing, shipping, receiving, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
  • Proven analytical skills, ability to solve problems creatively.
  • Proven customer service skills.
  • Flexible, able to shift and adjust to changing business priorities and needs.
  • Effective communicator, able to communicate with technical and non-technical team members to collaborate on issue identification and resolution.
