At St. Luke's Health System, we're seeking a Clinical Operations Manager to oversee medical staff services. This role is responsible for coordinating all operational aspects of the department, including organizing programs and establishing procedures for medical staff peer review functions.

About the Role

This position will serve as a liaison and resource for medical staff peer review committees and chairs across the health system. You'll provide leadership, guidance, and continuing education pertinent to peer review to staff, select and develop team members, and promote resolution of conflict.

You'll be responsible for updating and maintaining systems, evaluating the effectiveness of medical staff peer review programs, and analyzing trends to implement changes as required. Additionally, you'll utilize data and observation to identify problems and potential solutions to ensure department efficiency.

We're looking for an individual with strong understanding of medical staff governance, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements related to peer review processes. Familiarity with healthcare quality metrics, data analysis, and reporting is also essential.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and healthcare data management software is also required.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Current RN licensure from the State of Practice; CPHQ certification and/or lean sigma certificate/training preferred
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a leadership or management role related to medical staff services or peer review processes
