Key Responsibilities
  • Check-in Patients: Collect necessary information from patients and verify demographics and insurance are current.
  • Schedule Appointments: Schedule patients for next office appointments and provide a summary of their visit.
  • Manage Cash and Credit Transactions: Collect copays and balances due from patients and complete daily cash out and deposit.
  • Maintain Office Cleanliness: Ensure the office is clean and organized, adhering to OSHA standards.
  • Protect Patient Confidentiality: Maintain strict HIPAA standards related to patient information.
  • Participate in Team Meetings: Communicate and collaborate with the team to identify and solve processes.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least six months of experience in a customer service role required.
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associates Degree in a related field preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
