Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our Water Resources Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing complex plans and specifications for the construction or modification of high-hazard dams and their appurtenances.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze plans and specifications for dam construction and modification projects
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Collaborate with dam owners, consulting engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to ensure dam safety and reliability
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members
Requirements
  • Valid California Driver's License
  • Certificate of registration as a civil engineer issued by the California State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers
  • Strong communication and technical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with dam safety and design principles
