The successful candidate will possess a unique blend of technical knowledge and skills, with the ability to coordinate with various stakeholders, including state agencies, utilities, and industry partners.
Key Responsibilities- Lead assignments related to the administration of power purchase agreements, including evaluation of contract terms and conditions.
- Evaluate investment opportunities in the hydroelectric power sector, including feasibility studies and financial analysis.
- Monitor and analyze integrated resource plans, including renewable energy policy and greenhouse gas reduction goals.
- Coordinate with state agencies, utilities, and industry partners to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of hydroelectric power generation and transmission.
- Valid California Driver's License.
- Strong technical knowledge of hydroelectric power generation and transmission.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
