Autonomous Systems Software Engineer, Mission Planning Team

We're seeking an experienced software engineer to join our mission planning team, responsible for developing and maintaining optimal autonomous operations for our constellation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software system design, architecture, data structures, and software performance.
In this role, you'll contribute to the integrated product team, collaborating with mission planning, ground software, and product engineers. Your responsibilities will include modeling, implementing, and testing concepts of operation for autonomous planning, developing production-level software in Go, and supporting ongoing constellation operations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and track requirements, schedules, and technical implementation for various mission planning products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex problems.
- Design, implement, and test software improvements or features independently.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, statistics, or another computational field.
- At least twelve years of relevant software development experience.
- Familiarity with satellite first principles such as orbital mechanics, attitude dynamics, and satellite systems.
- Experience writing technical requirements and driving to implementation.
Salary Range: $165,000 - $185,000 per year
