About the Role

Howard Industries is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Efficiency Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for conducting time and motion studies to identify opportunities for improvement in our production processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough time and motion studies to analyze work patterns and methods, with the goal of developing and implementing efficient practices and programs.
  • Direct and lead observations and analyses of work procedures to determine time and motion requirements for each position or assignment.
  • Analyze data and specifications to establish reasonable time and production standards, applying industrial management techniques and principles to develop cost-saving recommendations.
  • Design and coordinate all phases of the production process using industrial engineering principles and best practices, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records and reports of time and motion studies, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, or related field.
  • At least two years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of industrial engineering principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software, with experience in data analysis and reporting.
