Position Overview:

The Time Study Industrial Engineer is responsible for conducting comprehensive time and motion studies aimed at evaluating employee work patterns and methodologies. The primary objective is to develop and implement strategies that promote optimal efficiency in the utilization of production personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead time and motion studies to uncover potential enhancements in efficiency and cost reduction related to workforce and facilities.
  • Observe and analyze operational procedures to ascertain the time and motion requirements for various roles.
  • Evaluate data and specifications to set realistic time and production benchmarks.
  • Utilize mathematical analysis to derive objective metrics for alternative work patterns.
  • Implement industrial management techniques to propose cost-effective recommendations and modifications regarding work methods, staffing needs, wage structures, and equipment upgrades.
  • Design and oversee all stages of the production process, applying industrial engineering principles and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the accounting department to refine wage and salary policies based on projected labor costs.
  • Support marketing and sales teams in pricing strategies through the development of cost analysis systems.
  • Perform additional related duties as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, maintaining professionalism in interactions with staff.
  • Proficient time management skills, with a proven track record of identifying efficient task execution methods.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, or a related discipline is required.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a manufacturing setting is essential.
