Job Title: Medical Clinic RN

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Medical Clinic RN at Gwinnett County Public Schools. As a key member of our health services team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality healthcare services to students and staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialized health-related services on a direct/indirect basis, including training and supervision of health-related procedures.
  • Communicate effectively and courteously with the public, students, parents, and staff.
  • Perform nursing assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation, and referral activities to identify and meet the healthcare needs of students.
  • Develop and implement individualized health management plans for students with identified health conditions in collaboration with parents and healthcare providers.
  • Assist local school staff in managing communicable diseases, including the implementation of infection control procedures.
  • Provide training and professional development on health-related issues for school staff members.
  • Collaborate with health care providers and local Public Health Department staff to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license through the Georgia Board of Nursing.
  • Valid Georgia driver's license.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing.
  • Three years of pediatric experience in public health, hospital, and/or related medical facility.
  • Skills in training and supervision of health-related procedures, communication, and nursing assessment.
