About the Role

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical and administrative support to our multi-state Psychiatric Med Clinic Program.
  • Assist with front office duties, including scheduling, referrals, and verifying insurance.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient demographics and insurance information in our Electronic Health Record.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, coworkers, and outside agencies through email and phone.
  • Assist with sending and completing forms, such as screening tools and intake paperwork.
  • Complete documents, upload documents, and maintain the Electronic Health Record.
  • Submit refill requests to practitioners and communicate with pharmacies to ensure timely medication refills.
  • Monitor medications and provide ongoing support and education to patients regarding their diagnosis and treatment.
  • Conduct nursing assessments and document patient information in the Electronic Health Record.
  • Serve as a clinical support liaison between practitioners, other professionals, and agencies to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Communicate with patients, colleagues, and other individuals to address questions and concerns.
  • Assist practitioners in submitting Prior Authorization requests for medication.
  • Obtain client lab results and maintain patient and employee privacy in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  • Current Registered Nurse license in the state where services are provided.
