Extension Educator, Agriculture/4-H Youth Development Specialist

Oklahoma State University (OSU) Extension is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Extension Educator to lead the Agriculture and 4-H Youth Development programs in Okmulgee County. The successful candidate will provide leadership to agricultural and 4-H youth development programs, working closely with local clientele and advisory groups to plan, implement, and evaluate the total OSU Extension county program.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership to agricultural and 4-H youth development programs in Okmulgee County.
- Work closely with local clientele and advisory groups to plan, implement, and evaluate the total OSU Extension county program.
- Develop and deliver educational programs and materials to promote agricultural and 4-H youth development in the county.
- Collaborate with other OSU Extension personnel and stakeholders to achieve program goals and objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in agriculture and 4-H youth development.
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or a related field.
- No experience required, but a strong background in agriculture and 4-H youth development is preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Master's degree in Agriculture or a related field.
- Previous experience in Cooperative Extension or closely related work.
