Position Overview


The Fixed Assets Financial Analyst will be tasked with examining the foundational documentation of capital expenditures to ensure adherence to the Company's fixed asset guidelines and prepare corresponding reconciliations to the general ledger from the fixed asset subsidiary ledger.


Compensation:
$65K - $70K annual salary

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain precise fixed asset records.
  • Review invoices to ensure compliance with the Company's fixed asset guidelines.
  • Prepare monthly journal entries for general ledger accounts related to fixed assets.
  • Reconcile fixed asset-related general ledger accounts at the end of each month.
  • Assist with audit requests related to fixed assets from both internal and external auditors.
  • Collaborate with various departments to enhance processes.
  • Support the annual fixed asset verification and impairment assessment.
  • Assist in the verification and documentation of assets acquired through business combinations.
  • Engage in special projects as required.
  • Adhere to all policies and standards, ensuring compliance with the Company's commitment to workplace safety.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is mandatory.

Experience Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

Skills and Competencies
  • Familiarity with an ERP system or Fixed Asset Software is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting and general ledger principles.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, along with being a proactive self-starter.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.
