Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain relationships with clients, managing client expectations and meeting all client deliverables.
- Manage and review the daily accounting and financial reporting for REITs.
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Prepare and review general ledger and work paper files, including capital activity, investment activity, income, and expense accruals.
- Preparation and review of the day-to-day operations of the REIT.
- Preparation of required monthly share class pricing.
- Help manage year-end audit process and support external auditors and tax teams with requested financials.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent field.
- 5+ years of mortgage REIT experience.
- Financial statement preparation experience, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement.
- Experience with NAV calculations, including management and performance fee calculations.
