Job Overview

Position: Senior Business Analyst / Project Manager

Location: Hybrid role with travel requirements

Contract Duration: 6 Months

Compensation: $70 to $80 per hour on W2

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Over 7 years of experience in a senior Business Analyst or Project Manager role.
  • A comprehensive understanding of financial reconciliation processes.
  • Experience in designing, configuring, and automating financial reports and reconciliations using industry-standard tools such as PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau, Intellimatch, Proactive, and Duco.
  • Knowledge of various financial instruments, including Fixed Income, Equities, Exchange-Traded Derivatives, and Over-the-Counter derivatives.
  • Insight into the lifecycle of financial trades, including Fixed Income, Equities, Derivatives, and Foreign Exchange, along with knowledge of trade clearing and settlement processes.
  • Familiarity with SWIFT messaging, particularly in relation to payments and cash management.
  • Experience with MQ, NDM, and SFTP technologies.
  • Strong data analysis skills, including the ability to create complex SQL queries for data extraction from databases such as MySQL, PLSQL, and Oracle.
  • Capability to manage multiple complex projects involving diverse business and IT teams globally, identifying requirements and conducting gap analyses.
  • Proficiency in creating various project documentation, including project plans, Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), Business Requirement Documents (BRD), and process flows.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, and Microsoft Office.
  • Prior experience in the banking or financial services sector.
  • Adeptness in identifying, documenting, and addressing process gaps while ensuring alignment with internal guidelines and industry best practices.
  • Experience collaborating with various business teams, including Finance, Operations, and Compliance.
  • Ability to oversee projects from inception to completion.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in designing, configuring, and automating financial reports and reconciliations using recognized industry tools.
  • Knowledge of different financial instruments.
Educational Background
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Preferred: Candidates holding a PMP certification.
