Job Overview

OneFifteen Recovery is a nonprofit organization committed to the comprehensive and lasting recovery of individuals facing substance use disorders. We have established a technology-driven healthcare framework that encompasses a treatment facility, supportive housing, and integrated services, all situated on a modern campus. Our mission is to enhance the understanding of addiction treatment through a learning healthcare system, ultimately aiming to empower individuals to lead healthy, fulfilling lives free from addiction.

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will work in collaboration with the leadership team to foster innovative care practices while promoting a holistic approach to treatment and reducing stigma. The CFO must be adept at navigating uncertain environments and integrating top-tier care delivery models with cutting-edge technology solutions to engage team members, enhance outcomes, and lower expenses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine financial models and forecasts; conduct financial analyses to drive scalability and sustainability for both the OneFifteen value-based care model and nonprofit operations; create and implement decision-making tools; and advise the CEO and leadership team on risks and opportunities.
  • Oversee the financial operations of the organization, ensuring its fiscal health and sustainability. This role encompasses all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with leadership to achieve financial sustainability by identifying long-term risks and formulating strategies to enhance financial performance.
  • Establish and maintain a well-controlled environment, including the development of processes, policies, training, and procedures.
  • Prepare materials for and engage with operating boards, advisory groups, funding sources, healthcare system partners, and government agency representatives.
  • Supervise external accountants, consultants, and auditors; manage the preparation of tax documentation and necessary reports to uphold tax-exempt status for nonprofit entities.
  • Foster strong collaborative relationships with technology partners.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to independently create detailed, insightful analyses using databases, automation, or business intelligence tools that are easily comprehensible across all organizational levels.
  • Self-motivated individual with a demonstrated history of problem-solving, risk management, and logistical analysis.
  • Experience in developing comprehensive plans for scaling nonprofit organizations, including building strategic partnerships with providers, payors, or other relevant stakeholders.
  • Highly motivated, adaptable, and organized, with a keen attention to detail.

Education and Experience:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, accounting, economics, or a closely related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in finance, reimbursement, or business operations within a nonprofit healthcare setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or an equivalent master's degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years managing a healthcare or public health portfolio at a charitable organization, foundation, or government granting agency.

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $105,000 - $135,000 annually
