Key Responsibilities:

The Financial Controller will oversee the daily financial operations and management of the organization. We are looking for a proactive, well-versed, and highly driven professional to lead our Accounting division. This role necessitates a robust technical accounting background along with a solid understanding of best practices and team development.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Influences financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Prepares regular interim financial reports and presentations for Board Committees and the Board of Directors.
  • Provides insights into financial status by gathering, interpreting, and reporting financial data.
  • Maintains confidentiality in the execution of daily operations.
  • Collaborates with and supervises the existing Accounting team.
  • Assists with General Ledger, Financial Statements, and Cash Flow monitoring/integrity, collaborates with project leaders on grants, and ensures compliance with funding guidelines.
  • Works closely with management to enhance, manage, and innovate processes, policies, and practices for improved operational efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Several years of experience in Accounting at a Controller or equivalent level.
  • Experience in Non-Profit or Grant Management is advantageous.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
