Peraton is seeking experienced Project Managers - Level 2 to oversee the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - 3. This role is crucial for ensuring effective project execution and is located in a designated area.
Key Responsibilities
The Project Manager Level 2 (PM L2) is accountable for managing specific projects assigned by the Government, which includes:
- Defining project requirements, scope, budget, schedule, and performance metrics.
- Monitoring and reporting on project performance, budget adherence, and timelines.
- Conducting interim progress reviews with the Government as necessary.
- Implementing and enforcing Government policies, standards, and methodologies.
- Preparing and supervising the development of studies, reports, and acquisition documents.
- Utilizing the latest Government-approved Project Management Processes (PMP) and ensuring annual updates as needed.
Specific Duties Include:
- Documenting all support requirements in a comprehensive PMP.
- Detailing the proposed management approach.
- Maintaining thorough Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Creating a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) with clear responsibilities.
- Elaborating on the Project Manager's Quality Management Plan (QMP) and risk management strategies.
- Establishing effective communication processes and engagement rules.
- Ensuring the location of technical and project management documentation is maintained.
- Some roles may require flexibility in work hours to support mission objectives.
Qualifications
Required:
- A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, with potential supervisory responsibilities.
- Possession of a DoD TS clearance or higher.
- Extensive experience in management roles.
- At least two years of relevant experience in similar duties or five years of specialized experience.
- Familiarity with Federal Acquisition laws, regulations, and policies.
- Certification as a SCRUM Master (CSM).
- Project Management Institute (PMI) certifications such as PgMP or PMP.
