Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team at Advance Auto Parts. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and motivate a team of drivers to ensure timely deliveries and excellent customer service.
  • Manage store operations, including inventory management, pricing, shipping, and receiving.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth and exceed sales targets.
  • Provide coaching and training to store employees to improve their sales and customer service skills.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and maintain a safe and secure work environment.
  • Collaborate with the store manager to achieve sales and profit goals, and provide input on store operations and customer service.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the automotive industry or a comparable combination of training, education, and experience.
  • Managerial skills, including the ability to coach, motivate, and develop employees.
  • Ambitious, results-driven, highly energetic, goal-oriented, and self-motivated individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail, and the ability to make decisions and resolve problems.
  • Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.
