Core Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Governance Manager to support the Board of Directors, Council, Executive Committee, and Executive Office. This role will be based in a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support governance operations through collaboration with leadership, performing complex tasks, including managing leadership groups and related projects, generating correspondence, agenda preparation, creating PowerPoint presentations, taking minutes, and implementing governance policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with senior executives to ensure effective governance practices and compliance.
- Manage and maintain confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Prepare, draft, and edit executive-level correspondence, reports, and presentations.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of governance principles, regulations, and best practices.
- Provide administrative support to the Executive Office, including scheduling meetings, coordinating travel, and managing calendars.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and make recommendations for process improvements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent years of experience.
- 5+ years of related experience supporting C-suite executives.
- Understanding of governance principles and compliance.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and virtual meeting platforms.
- Technically savvy with the ability to operate audio-visual equipment.
- Flexible schedule and ability to travel a minimum of 2-3 times per year.
