Position Title: Senior Financial Analyst

Job Summary:

In this role, you will support the Chief Financial Officer by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting financial and accounting data related to contract reporting. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting comprehensive studies to analyze intricate financial and accounting data and preparing detailed reports as required.
  • Providing insights on financial policies, governmental regulations, accounting principles, and customer financial standards.
  • Evaluating financial information to assess current and future financial performance.
  • Identifying trends and suggesting enhancements based on your analyses.
  • Reviewing complex profit plans, operational records, and financial statements.
  • Overseeing the preparation of studies and reports in areas such as budgets, forecasts, financial strategies, regulatory requirements, statistical analyses, cash flow projections, and business forecasts.
  • Interpreting and applying corporate financial policies, government regulations, and accounting standards.
  • Establishing databases of relevant information for future planning and forecasting.
  • Making recommendations to management regarding cost-saving initiatives, profit-generating opportunities, and strategies for improving profitability.
  • Collaborating with various management levels to collect, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations on financial plans, acquisition activities, new business strategies, future requirements, regulatory obligations, and operational forecasts.
  • Researching and preparing economic reports on topics such as return on investment, depreciation, working capital needs, investment opportunities, investment performance, and the impact of regulatory requirements.
  • Assisting the agency's controller in budget development, planning, and other corporate financial obligations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a multi-project environment.
  • A valid driver's license and agency-required automobile insurance.
