About the Role

The Senior Manager, Compensation Consulting will lead the design and implementation of compensation strategies that support the strategic objectives of various Walgreens Support Office functions. As a key advisor to senior leadership, this role will provide compensation insights and data-driven solutions to attract, retain, and motivate top talent while ensuring compliance and alignment with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design comprehensive compensation strategies aligned with business needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with Finance on compensation budget planning and forecasting to support overall financial and strategic plans.
  • Manage the annual compensation planning cycle, including salary adjustments, incentive payouts, and performance-based increases, ensuring compliance and effective execution.
  • Act as a primary compensation advisor to HR and Finance teams, providing guidance on complex issues and compensation plan changes.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and HR Business Partners to develop solutions that drive employee engagement, retention, and performance.
  • Instill a 'data-driven mindset' across the teams; develop and manage compensation analytics, and data-driven insights to support HR and Finance in decision-making processes.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including FLSA, OFCCP, and other labor laws.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in compensation strategy development and implementation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive insights.
  • Excellent communication and advisory skills, with the ability to engage and communicate with HR and Finance teams.
  • Familiarity with employment law and regulatory requirements.
