Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our team at Ontario Center. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Observation and Reporting: Observe residents' physical and emotional needs, and report any concerns to the supervising nurse.
  • Personal Care: Assist residents with personal hygiene, including bathing, shaving, and dressing.
  • Meal Preparation and Service: Set up meal trays, document food and fluid intake, and serve nutritional supplements to residents.
  • Housekeeping and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and tidy environment for residents, including making beds and transporting residents within the facility.
  • Confidentiality and Respect: Maintain the confidentiality of all resident and facility data, and treat residents with dignity and respect.

Requirements:

  • Teamwork and Communication: Demonstrate the ability to work effectively as a team member and communicate clearly with residents, staff, and supervisors.
  • Certification and Education: Possess a current CNA state certification and have completed a CNA program.
  • Professional Conduct: Maintain good standing with the state registry and adhere to professional standards of conduct.
