Job Summary
As a Medical Assistant at Canyon Vista Medical Center, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care. Working under the supervision of a physician or nurse practitioner, you will assist with examinations and treatments, interview patients, measure vital signs, and maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
• Interview patients to gather medical history and symptoms
• Measure vital signs, such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height
• Prepare treatment rooms for examination of patients
• Assist with examinations and treatments under the supervision of a physician or nurse practitioner
• Schedule appointments, receive payments, and maintain accurate records

Requirements
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Certification as a Medical Assistant
• One to two years of experience in a similar role (preferred)
• Ability to obtain CPR certification within 90 days of hire

Compensation and Benefits
This Medical Assistant position comes with a competitive salary, with an estimated $68,000 - $78,000 per year, based on experience. In addition, eligible employees may be entitled to a sign-on bonus, up to $7,000 for those with more than 2 years of experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement.
