**Job Title:** Treatment Planning Coordinator

The Orthodontic Treatment Planning Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the success of Bond Manufacturing's patient care experience. This position is responsible for ensuring seamless communication between patients, insurance providers, and our expert orthodontists. As a key member of our team, you will be instrumental in facilitating high treatment acceptance rates and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Educate patients on oral healthcare best practices related to braces and appliances.
  • Present comprehensive treatment plans and estimates to patients, highlighting the benefits and costs associated with each option.
  • Review and understand patients' insurance benefits to ensure accurate billing and optimal reimbursement.
  • Make introductory phone calls to potential new patients and manage recall reports to maintain a strong patient pipeline.
  • Take diagnostic x-rays as needed to support treatment planning and diagnosis.
  • Deliver quality and compassionate care to every patient, addressing their concerns and needs with empathy and professionalism.
  • Explain and promote our payment policies and procedures, ensuring transparency and clarity throughout the treatment process.
  • Solicit referrals from satisfied patients to drive growth and expand our network.
  • Accurately chart and document all notes related to patient care, adhering to company guidelines and standards.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment by following administrative procedures and policies.
  • Attend and participate in office meetings, continuing education events, and daily huddles to stay informed and contribute to team goals.
  • Contact patients and guarantors prior to appointments to confirm fees due and appointment details.
  • Prioritize day-to-day activities based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to optimize productivity and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a high school degree or equivalent is required.
  • An associates degree in Business or equivalent is preferred.
  • Bilingual skills are preferred but not mandatory.
  • At least three years of experience working in a professional, medical, or dental environment with direct customer service is desired.
  • X-ray certification is a plus.

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
