Job Summary

Auro Hotels is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Director - Food and Beverage to lead our culinary operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing culinary operations, developing and implementing new methods and techniques, and maintaining a competent and motivated staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Culinary Operations Management: Manage culinary operations to ensure quality and safety standards are met, service distinctiveness is promoted, and available resources are utilized effectively.
  • Menu Development and Implementation: Develop and implement new menu concepts, techniques, and procedures to achieve higher levels of technical competence, greater cost efficiencies, and increased market share.
  • Staff Management and Development: Maintain a competent and motivated staff by implementing effective associate selection, training, and development programs, and establishing standards of performance and evaluating staff.
  • Accident Prevention and Safety: Minimize the number of accidents occurring from unsafe practices by ensuring applicable health and safety standards are understood and applied in the conduct of all work activities.
  • Financial Management: Participate in the development of the annual budget as it relates to functional areas of responsibility, and provide management with continuous planning, forecasting, and monitoring financial detail to verify adherence to plan.
  • Public Relations and Events: Maintain a visible public presence by participating in public relations programs and events, coordinating special events with other departments, and preparing gourmet dinners for special guests.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or related field, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in culinary management.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Proven track record of success in culinary management, excellent leadership and communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
