Job Summary

The Executive Chef - Restaurant Operations Manager is a key member of the Rick Erwin Dining Group team, responsible for leading the culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests. This role requires a strong leader who can build relationships with team members and guests, while maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Quality and Safety: Develop and implement menus that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to order and presented in a visually appealing manner.
  • Culinary Team Management: Lead and motivate the culinary team to achieve exceptional results, providing coaching and training to ensure that all team members are equipped to deliver outstanding service.
  • Restaurant Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including inventory management, supply chain logistics, and staff scheduling.
  • Guest Experience: Ensure that every guest has a memorable dining experience, responding promptly to guest feedback and concerns, and taking proactive steps to resolve any issues.
  • Cost Control: Manage food costs, labor costs, and other expenses to ensure that the restaurant operates within budget.
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and specials, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or Culinary Director in a high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members. Proficient in food safety and sanitation procedures, with a strong understanding of inventory management and supply chain logistics.
