Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Coordination: Coordinate staff coverage to provide health services in residential communities on campus.
  • Preventative Programming: Collaborate with residence life staff to conduct needs assessments for residential communities and develop preventative programming focused on mental health and wellness to address student needs.
  • Counseling Services: Provide direct services including individual and group counseling to assist clients with complex personal, social, and career concerns.
  • Group Facilitation: Facilitate psychoeducational groups, workshops, and outreach activities in the residential communities.
  • Critical Incident Response: Provide counseling, consultation, and support to students and residence life staff during and after critical incidents.
  • Documentation: Complete clinical documentation.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree: Master's degree or equivalent in Social Work, Clinical or Counseling Psychology, or Counseling with Three (3) years of experience in a counseling setting and/or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Licensed Mental Health Provider: Licensed Mental Health Provider.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • College Mental Health Experience: Previous experience in a college mental health environment.
  • Skills and Abilities: Microsoft office suite, presentation, and organizational skills.
