Position Overview:
As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring that every individual who visits our facility has a remarkable experience from the moment they arrive. Your station at the front desk will be the hub of communication, where you will engage with patients through various channels, manage financial transactions, and navigate multiple software systems. Your contributions will significantly enhance the overall care experience for our patients.

Compensation:
Starting at $16/hour (Based on Experience)
Key Responsibilities:
We are looking for candidates who are flexible, patient-focused, outstanding communicators, detail-oriented, and collaborative team members.
In this position, your typical duties will include:
1. Welcoming new and returning patients as they arrive, registering them, and providing essential information about their visit.
2. Scheduling patient appointments both in-person and via phone.
3. Maintaining regular communication with various stakeholders, including legal offices, insurance providers, translation services, operational leaders, and business development teams.
4. Collecting co-payments, managing insurance approvals, and conducting verifications.
5. Offering patients relevant information regarding their upcoming appointments during checkout.
6. Addressing inquiries from patients, healthcare providers, and colleagues.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience in Insurance Verification.
- Preferred: 1 Year of Front Desk Experience.
Additional Qualifications:
- 1 Year of Medical Office Experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, and reach consistently throughout the workday.
- Manual dexterity to enable typing (including 10-key) throughout the workday.
- Capability to lift up to 25 lbs safely from ground to waist using proper techniques.
- Ability to carry office supplies weighing up to 10 lbs.
- Visual acuity (near and distant) sufficient for maintaining accurate records and recognizing individuals.
- Sufficient hearing and speaking ability to understand and provide directions.
