The Role:

We are in search of a proactive and commercially savvy industry leader to take on the role of Regional Vice President for the dynamic Denver, CO area. This pivotal executive position will enable you to spearhead the success of all sales and operational activities within the region. You will oversee a team of field personnel, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, enhancing productivity, and maintaining quality control while optimizing labor expenditures, boosting sales, and meeting profitability objectives. Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Excellence: Propel the attainment of regional safety and productivity goals by effectively managing operations teams and strategically allocating resources.
  • Strategic Growth: Formulate and implement strategies to improve profitability, productivity, and efficiency across the region's operations. Stay informed about industry trends, customer demands, and competitor movements to uncover growth opportunities.
  • Financial Management: Collaborate with the Board of Directors to set profit objectives and develop business strategies. Monitor progress and report on goal attainment, ensuring the financial prosperity of the region.
  • Leadership & Development: Lead and empower preconstruction, estimating, and field staff teams to achieve sales and profit targets. Foster a culture of continuous improvement through training and mentorship initiatives.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, architectural and engineering firms, and trade partners to promote collaboration and secure new business prospects.
  • Safety & Compliance: Advocate for a safety-first culture and ensure adherence to all local regulations, codes, and industry standards.

Qualifications:

  • Proven Leadership: A minimum of 5 years of senior leadership experience in the electrical contracting sector, showcasing a successful history of managing large-scale operations and achieving profit targets.
  • Strategic Insight: A comprehensive understanding of industry-specific strategic planning and the capability to convert vision into actionable initiatives.
  • Financial Expertise: Proficiency in financial management, including P&L statements, balance sheets, cash flow analysis, forecasting, and labor productivity reporting.
  • Industry Acumen: Extensive knowledge of electrical contracting industry compliance standards, negotiation and contract law, and pricing strategies.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to cultivate relationships and influence stakeholders effectively.
  • Technological Proficiency: Comfortable with modern operating systems, communication platforms, and presentation software.
