Job Title: Mechanical Equipment Assembler

Job Overview

The role involves the assembly of mechanical components, including tank apparatus, wiring, and conduits. Responsibilities include performing maintenance on units, parts, and materials, as well as interpreting schedules and workflow requirements. You will be tasked with retrieving materials from storage for assembly and inspecting assembled products to ensure they meet design specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct mechanical assembly of various equipment.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on components and materials.
  • Read and interpret workflow schedules.
  • Retrieve necessary materials for assembly from storage.
  • Inspect finished assemblies for compliance with design criteria.
  • Maintain organization of tools and workspaces.
  • Document maintenance activities through work orders.

Employment Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Environment

This position requires full on-site attendance. The shifts available are 2nd shift: 3pm-11pm and 3rd shift: 11pm-7am. Overtime is typically scheduled every other Saturday, while Sundays are not mandatory. Initial training will occur on the 1st shift for a duration of 2-6 months. The team consists of approximately 60 assemblers per shift. The dress code includes steel-toed footwear, jeans, and safety glasses. The work environment is characterized by a spacious, clean, and well-organized manufacturing facility.
