Restaurant Assistant General Manager Job Description

Noodles & Company is seeking an experienced Restaurant Assistant General Manager to join our team. As a key member of our restaurant management team, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team, providing an uncommonly good experience for guests, and fostering a family-like atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a high-performing team with the General Manager to achieve exceptional guest satisfaction and sales results.
  • Provide an uncommonly good experience for guests by ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
  • Manage restaurant operations, including scheduling, inventory control, and labor management.
  • Identify and develop talent within the team, recognizing and rewarding high performers.
  • Assist with local restaurant marketing and community outreach initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards for food quality, safety, and cleanliness.
  • Work a variable schedule, including opening, mid, and closing shifts, as well as weekends and/or holidays.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of one year of management and/or leadership experience.
  • Experience in food service, retail, hospitality, or hotel management is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Valid driver's license required, as driving may be necessary.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
