Human Resources Generalist Opportunity at Century Distribution Systems

Century Distribution Systems, a leader in supply chain and logistics, is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our team. As a Human Resources Generalist, you will be responsible for managing various HR tasks, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, EEO compliance, and HR reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding new hires.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations, addressing employee concerns and providing guidance on company policies.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations while maintaining up-to-date employee records.
  • Manage administering leave of absence programs, including FMLA.
  • Support performance management initiatives by guiding managers through employee evaluations, performance improvement plans, and career development programs.
  • Lead employee engagement efforts, including organizing company events, recognition programs, and feedback initiatives.
  • Generate HR reports and provide insights into HR metrics such as turnover, employee satisfaction, and recruitment effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of HR generalist experience.
  • Working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred but not required.
