**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Heavy Equipment CDL Driver to join our team at EquipmentShare in Minneapolis, MN. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely delivering equipment and materials to customers while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Role:

  • Operate vehicles according to state and federal transportation laws, transporting loads safely and efficiently over required routes.
  • Maneuver trucks and trailers into loading and unloading areas, following loading crew signals and assisting with loading/unloading goods and materials.
  • Maintain accurate records, including signed invoices and shipping bills of lading, and deliver documentation to the shipping office upon completion of delivery routes.
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks, reporting malfunctions to the Shipping Supervisor as needed.
  • Arrange trailers in shipping yards for optimal loading patterns.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must hold a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or chauffeur's license, depending on the state, and be able to operate vehicles up to 10,001 lbs.
  • Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state department(s) of transportation regulations.
  • DOT physical examination is mandatory.
  • Frequent travel is required.
  • May be required to maintain a clean shave for certain deliveries.
