US Foods, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Plymouth, MN.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced mechanic with a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of troubleshooting and resolving complex mechanical issues, as well as providing excellent customer service.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position that requires a high level of mechanical aptitude, technical knowledge, and problem-solving skills. As a Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of diesel equipment, including tractors, trailers, and other heavy-duty vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose complex mechanical issues with diesel engines and equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and filter replacements
  • Repair and replace damaged or worn-out parts
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns
  • Document all work performed and maintain accurate records

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

At least 3 years of experience as a heavy duty commercial diesel mechanicDiesel Mechanic Certification or equivalentExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAble to work independently and as part of a teamStrong communication and customer service skills

Compensation:
