Architect - Project Manager

Blue Architecture is seeking a highly skilled Architect - Project Manager to join our team in Bremerton, WA. As a design-build firm, we specialize in providing architecture, engineering, and project management consulting services. We are a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business with offices in the Pacific Northwest and in the Southeast. Remote work is also an option for certain roles. Our team works collaboratively, tackling exciting projects, and enjoying a stimulating and collegial environment.

The Architect - Project Manager will be part of the dynamic A/E Design team within Blue Architecture's Design-Bid-Build operations. This team is primarily involved in the design of various project types within the Veterans Affairs Medical Center systems throughout the Western United States. The position collaborates with all other design discipline staff and will help build the team's architectural design department.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Responsible for the design and creation of plans and blueprints from which buildings or structures are constructed
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Able to work closely with clients, engineers, planners, and other industry professionals
  • Assist in writing and designing sketches and renderings for Federal & Commercial Design Build Proposals
  • Adhere to all industry standards in design
  • Create architectural designs based on customer input and feedback
  • Occasional overnight travel
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working within an architecture firm
  • Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite (preferred)
  • Excellent design & presentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Technical knowledge of building envelope design
  • Working knowledge of the building codes
  • Experience managing consultant engineers
Compensation:
The pay range is $95k to $115K DOE.
