Job Title: Director of Order Management

Medallia, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Order Management to lead our Worldwide Order Management function. This key operational leader will have a unique opportunity to impact Medallia's strategic priorities.

About the Role

The Director of Order Management will be responsible for all aspects of Global Order Management, Billings, Credit and Collections, and Cash Application. This includes leading the Order Management, Billings, and Credit and Collections teams, assisting with the deal desk review of sales opportunities, contracts, and non-standard transactions, and reviewing and approving sales orders.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Order Management, Billing Operations, and Credit and Collection, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in these areas. They will also have 3+ years of people management experience leading a team and demonstrated experience supporting the integration of acquisitions related to Order Management, Billings, Credit and Collections, and related software applications.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the Order Management, Billings, and Credit and Collections teams
  • Assist with the deal desk review of sales opportunities, contracts, and non-standard transactions
  • Review and approve sales orders
  • Lead the development and improvement of systems and operational processes in the Order to Cash process
  • Responsible for performing internal control procedures to ensure SOX compliance
  • Support the integration of acquisitions in accordance with Medallia's Order Management, Billings, Credit and Collections processes and policies
  • Assist in the external audit through preparation and review of audit deliverables
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in Order Management, Billing Operations, and Credit and Collection
  • 3+ years of people management experience leading a team
  • Demonstrated experience supporting the integration of acquisitions related to Order Management, Billings, Credit and Collections, and related software applications
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement including automation of manual processes and integration of financial systems
  • Demonstrated Software as a Service (SaaS) industry experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of revenue accounting under ASC 606
  • Demonstrated experience with Salesforce and Netsuite

Medallia, Inc. offers a competitive salary range of $124,800-$224,000, bonus eligibility, and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), short term and long term disability, life and AD&D insurance, statutory leaves, paid parental leave, and paid holidays.
