About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Order Management Analyst to join our team at Capital Group. As an Order Management Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely implementation of equity investment orders across various vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Risk Management: Perform and enhance key controls to ensure investment orders adhere to established guidelines, including checking compliance, portfolio eligibility, ratings, ownership, and other measures.
  • Issue Resolution: Resolve operational and compliance-related issues in a fast-paced environment, working closely with key partners such as the investment group, trading, legal, and other operational teams.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to re-engineer and automate processes to increase operational efficiency, partnering with teammates to implement changes.
  • Investment Process Support: Work with portfolio managers and research analysts to enable the investment process, including supporting investment calls, facilitating portfolio manager/analyst transitions, and responding to general queries.

  • Multitasking: Highly skilled in multitasking, with the ability to exercise good judgment in managing competing priorities.
  • Decision-Making: Sound and timely decision-making skills, with the ability to keep the organization moving forward.
  • Risk Management: Exceptional understanding of risk management and the overall control environment.
  • Adaptability: High learning agility, with the ability to adapt to new technology quickly. Experience with order management systems like Charles River (CRD) is a plus.
