Job Title: Procurement Specialist

West Coast Logistics is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team in Boise, Idaho. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing bid documents, rf(x), and issuance of purchase orders for large construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop key procurement documents to be included in the rf(x) process.
  • Assist in the development and assembly of the procurement plan to meet project and business objectives.
  • Issue and administer purchasing related documents to support the Procurement Manager or Director Procurement.
Requirements:
  • Some experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Buying, Sourcing, etc.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Exceptional organization and coordination skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft products (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related preferred.
  • Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) preferred.
  • Apics Certification preferred.
  • SAP, Oracle, Ariba experience preferred.
  • Experience working in Procurement in manufacturing, energy, oil & gas, high tech, or construction environment preferred.
  • Experience working in projects in a construction/project environment preferred.
