The main duty of a Retail Sales Associate is to implement the Living Spaces Guest Engagement Model, ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our customers that encourages repeat visits. Effective execution in these areas will allow the associate to surpass targeted Sales Per Hour (SPH) and contribute to company Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), all while upholding the highest standards of customer satisfaction as reflected in our guest feedback.
Key ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Focus on training and enhancing sales skills.
- Complete all training programs and demonstrate the ability to meet company standards.
- Oversee merchandising, visual presentation, and labeling in accordance with style guide directives.
- Ensure daily tasks are completed by store teams efficiently.
- Maintain inventory accuracy following company asset protection protocols.
- Promote proficiency in the Living Spaces Guest Engagement Model.
- Link behaviors in the Guest Engagement model to anticipated sales results.
- Conduct daily self-assessments and collaborate with leadership to enhance performance.
- Develop a monthly proficiency plan using sales reports and self-evaluation of strengths and areas for improvement.
- Support the execution of style guide directives and daily task lists.
- Foster a positive store culture that drives expected company outcomes.
- Contribute actively to team efforts aimed at delighting customers and achieving revenue goals.
- Utilize all tools in accordance with company standards.
- Ensure the check-out and check-in processes are executed properly.
- Availability to work weekends and most holidays.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. A minimum of 1 year of retail experience in a customer-facing role is preferred, with a focus on high-volume environments. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs is required to perform this role effectively.
Compensation and BenefitsThe hiring pay range serves as a guideline for compensation. Pay will be influenced by various factors, including the applicant's education, relevant work experience, skills, and internal equity. Living Spaces reserves the right to adjust this pay range as necessary. Compensation is determined by market demand, applicable skills, work experience, education, location, company budget, and in-demand skill sets.
Compensation: $23.00
Team members in Retail, Guest Services, and Distribution Centers may qualify for team bonuses based on achieving specific goals and KPIs.
