Job Description

Wise Auto Group is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team. As a Service Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate automotive services and repairs by identifying vehicle performance problems and service requests.
  • Verify warranty and service contract coverage, develop estimates, and write repair orders.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and ensure seamless communication with customers and technicians.
  • Assist Service Department management in maintaining a smooth-running, efficient service department.
  • Efficiently determine correct part numbers and labor time when building external and internal work orders.
  • Ensure proper forms have signatures at time of vehicle intake and accurate information is recorded.
  • Assess warranty status of vehicle and communicate warranty concerns to technicians.
  • Greets all customers in a prompt and friendly manner as they enter and exit the service area.
  • Handle all customer concerns in a quick, efficient, and friendly manner, showing empathy and a positive attitude.
  • Maintain a positive team atmosphere in the service department and ensure the service counter is staffed at all times.
  • Become familiar and efficient with all phases of the computer system required for service and parts management.
  • Meet established individual sales goals for parts and labor and meet established monthly department sales goals.
  • Professionally interact with staff from other departments and resolve issues regarding repair orders, parts, and payments in an expeditious but professional manner.
  • Monitor the drive isle, write-up area, and shop to ensure they are kept organized, clean of trash, and free of oil and vehicles are cleared at all times throughout the day.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED at minimum, some college preferred.
  • General knowledge of Harley-Davidson maintenance, systems, parts, and diagnostics or the ability to quickly learn.
  • Superior communication and customer service skills.
  • Experience with point-of-sale and Parts and Service computer software, or the ability to quickly learn due to general knowledge and experience with computers.
  • Ability to get along with a broad customer base.
  • Current driver's license with motorcycle endorsement and a driving record acceptable to our insurance carrier.
