Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance revenue through effective and timely execution of promotional and merchandising strategies.
- Assist in inventory procurement to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and support inventory control initiatives.
- Design and execute product displays, ensuring proper signage and pricing.
- Efficiently introduce new merchandise and manage the removal of outdated items according to markdown policies.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain accurate company plan-o-grams.
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and provide assistance as needed.
- Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for both customers and colleagues.
- Handle daily financial transactions, including cash, checks, and credit card payments.
- Be open to cross-training for additional responsibilities as directed by management.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in a merchandising support role is advantageous.
- Exceptional customer service abilities.
- Capacity to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Strong communication skills to address and resolve issues professionally.
- Flexibility to take on additional tasks and guidance from management.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs with assistance.
Work Environment:
Periods of standing, bending, and other physical activities are required.
Compensation:
Competitive hourly wage ranging from $14.00 to $17.00.
