MAU Workforce Solutions is seeking an Employee Relations Coordinator. In this role, you will facilitate effective collaboration among all parties while proactively overseeing employee performance and ensuring that key performance indicators (KPIs) are met. The Employee Relations Coordinator will manage all contingent workforce HR functions, concentrating on onboarding processes, payroll management, performance evaluations, counseling, and attendance monitoring to foster a positive employee experience and fulfill client expectations for contingent staffing.

Shift Details

  • 3rd shift, 7:30 PM – 6:10 AM
  • Additional hours may be required

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or high school diploma or GED with 2 – 5+ years of supervisory or leadership experience, or
  • A combination of education and relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 – 5+ years of experience in manufacturing supervision or human resources
  • Lean Greenbelt certification
  • Training in root cause analysis

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote a culture of safety in the workplace
  • Oversee standard work activities
  • Process, verify, and maintain employee documentation, including absences, investigations, performance reports, and termination records
  • Audit timekeeping records
  • Identify and assess issues using logical problem-solving techniques
  • Seek opportunities to enhance and streamline work processes
  • Research, generate, and manage all Corrective Action documentation
  • Explore innovative approaches within established guidelines
  • Support new initiatives by focusing on positive outcomes

  • Maintain regular interaction with Section Leaders and Managers

  • Plan activities related to customer engagement (both Associates and Clients, including proactive feedback solicitation and scheduled check-ins)

  • Participate in daily start-up shift and production meetings
  • Engage with customers (associates and clients) for 80% of the time on the floor
  • Support on-site colleagues in process improvement and professional development
  • Encourage referrals of potential candidates to the branch for placement opportunities
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This position may supervise the following roles: MAU Associates and Administrative Support

Work Environment

  • Responsibilities may be performed in both administrative and manufacturing settings
  • Customer sites may include process manufacturing equipment and heavy industrial vehicles
  • Work environments may range from non-temperature-controlled areas to GMP clean rooms

Physical Requirements

This position may require the following physical capabilities to be performed with or without reasonable accommodation:

  • Ability to lift 5 – 20 pounds periodically and up to 50 pounds on occasion
  • Ability to stand or walk for up to 12 hours (75% of the time)
  • Ability to sit at a desk and work in an office environment (25% of the time)
