The successful applicant will oversee a diverse range of projects, ensuring effective management of teams to meet project timelines, maintaining organization and punctuality, and demonstrating strong interpersonal skills when interacting with clients, staff, and vendors.

Your responsibilities will include managing the daily operations of assigned projects to guarantee the efficient delivery of materials, equipment, labor, and subcontractors during the installation phase, all while striving to meet or exceed the objectives set by both the customer and the company regarding cost, schedule, quality, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and present a preliminary project schedule for customer and project manager feedback, integrating it into the overall project timeline.
  • Assess anticipated manpower needs for the project and communicate these requirements to management for effective planning and recruitment.
  • Collaborate with vendors to secure all essential materials and subcontractors necessary for project execution.
  • Ensure timely arrival of materials, equipment, and personnel to optimize productivity during construction.
  • For design/build projects, assist primary project managers with the oversight, evaluation, and approval of relevant system designs, cost assessments, and modifications.
  • Plan and oversee the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and equipment as stipulated by contract.
  • Prepare budgets, support bidding processes, and assist in contract negotiations with clients, leading all discussions with subcontractors to finalize agreements for the work.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required, with preference given to candidates holding college or technical school degrees.

  • Previous experience in commercial or mechanical construction or engineering is advantageous.
