Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse Sepsis Coordinator to join our team at Methodist Hospital Stone Oak. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a critical role in coordinating sepsis services and protocols to ensure compliance with evidence-based practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures related to sepsis care, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify and address sepsis-related issues, and develop strategies to improve patient outcomes.
  • Monitor and analyze quality metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address these gaps.
  • Provide education and training to staff on sepsis recognition, treatment, and prevention, ensuring that all team members are equipped to provide high-quality care.
  • Participate in sepsis patient rounds to identify opportunities for improvement and evaluate the effectiveness of sepsis protocols.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Minimum of 5 years of critical care nursing experience
  • Current Texas RN license
  • Preferred: Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification
