Job Summary

Pinnacle Bank / Bank of Colorado is seeking a skilled Loan Officer II to join our team. As a Loan Officer II, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of loan and deposit accounts, prospecting new customers, and cross-selling other banking services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Portfolio Management
  • Manage a portfolio of loan and deposit accounts, including account reviews, problem-solving, and follow-up on internal account errors.
  • Interview loan applicants, gather and evaluate financial data to establish credit worthiness, and monitor customers' financial condition.
Loan Origination and Approval
  • Review and approve or deny loan requests to new or existing customers up to a predetermined limit.
  • Prepare action memos for management review and present credits exceeding authority to the loan committee.
Customer Service and Relationship Building
  • Prospect new customers and cross-sell other banking services to new and existing customers.
  • Maintain ongoing customer contact to ensure good customer relations.
Administrative and Compliance
  • Monitor loan repayment activities and take necessary action to collect past-due accounts.
  • Participate in the preparation of department budget, goals, and objectives, and strategic planning.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of lending experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of agriculture, commercial, and consumer lending procedures.
  • Knowledge of credit structuring, general banking principles, and sales and marketing practices.
  • College degree preferred.
