Job Title: Program Manager

At Goodwill Industries Of South Mississippi, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to lead our Missions Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the case management activities of the department, including developing and implementing strategic career development and relationship management plans for program participants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic career development and relationship management plans for program participants.
  • Direct career development forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly.
  • Review market analyses to determine participant needs, both internally and externally.
  • Direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control career development and relationship management activities.
  • Responsible for all aspects of the Program's CARF accreditation, including pre-audit and audit activities.
  • Perform initial and annual IEEs on all employees with disabilities.
  • Direct supply chain development activity and coordinate the establishing of territories, quotas, and goals.
  • Analyze career development statistics to formulate policy and assist the Missions Team in promoting the organization.
  • Represent the company at community-based career development meetings.
  • Deliver presentations to strategic organizations in coordination with team members.
  • Meet with strategic partners to maintain relationships and negotiate Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs).
  • Coordinate liaison between the Career Development department and other workforce units.
  • Analyze and control expenditures of the department to conform to budgetary requirements.
  • Prepare periodic reports showing case management volume, potential opportunities, and areas of proposed participant expansion.
  • Monitor and evaluate the activities and service delivery of the competition.
  • Recommend or approve budget, expenditures, and appropriations for research and development work.
  • Effectively manage the department budget for the division.
  • Attend team meetings, in-service training, seminars, and regular and ad hoc team meetings as assigned.
  • Assist the Training Team in providing training to Goodwill Team Members.
  • Bring a winning attitude, energy, passion for service quality, and customer focus to the team. Motivate, influence, and demonstrate high-performing behavior.
  • Maintain a sense of decorum, exercise discretion, and assure confidentiality in discussing and presenting sensitive information.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years in business development or relationship management.
  • 3 years in a management position.
