- Monitor and control costs, including labor, inventory, and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to achieve business objectives and implement company policies.
- Provide coaching and training to staff to improve performance and achieve goals.
- Manage inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies, and maintaining accurate records.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in restaurant management or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in managing staff, driving sales growth, and improving customer satisfaction.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
This role operates in a fast-paced restaurant environment, with frequent communication with staff, customers, and other team members. The Assistant General Manager will be required to stand for long periods, move around the restaurant, and lift up to 50 pounds. The ability to work in a standing position for long periods and lift/move up to 50 pounds is essential for this role.
Travel Requirements:Travel is primarily local during the business day, but may be required to various locations for training, meetings, and other job-related functions.
