Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Compensation Strategy Development: Develop and implement compensation strategies that align with the university's total rewards philosophy and support the achievement of business objectives.
  2. Program Design and Implementation: Design and implement compensation programs, including base pay, variable pay, and executive compensation, that are competitive and aligned with industry standards.
  3. Leadership and Team Management: Provide leadership and direction to a team of compensation professionals, managers, and directors, and ensure that they have the necessary skills and resources to perform their duties effectively.
  4. Communication and Stakeholder Management: Communicate compensation strategies and programs to various stakeholders, including senior leaders, managers, and employees, and ensure that they understand the value and benefits of the programs.
  5. Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, and to inform compensation program design and implementation.
  6. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that compensation programs and practices are compliant with relevant laws and regulations, and that the university is in compliance with all applicable requirements.
Requirements
  1. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and 15 years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience.
  2. Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of compensation principles and practices, excellent leadership and communication skills, and ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  3. Certifications and Licenses: None required.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position that requires occasional travel to various locations on campus.

Pay Range

The expected pay range for this position is $246,201 - $275,000 per annum.
