Behavioral Health Specialist 2, Licensed Mental Health Professional

The State of Oregon is seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Specialist 2 to join our team. As a Qualified Mental Health Professional, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive mental health services to adults in custody.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct mental status examinations and suicide assessments to identify individuals in need of mental health services.
- Develop and implement treatment interventions, behavior plans, and risk management plans to ensure the well-being of clients.
- Provide crisis services and support to individuals experiencing emotional distress.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and compassionate treatment experiences.
- Conduct regular contact with clients to monitor their mental health status and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- A Bachelor's degree in nursing or occupational therapy, or a Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field.
- Licensure as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) in the State of Oregon.
- Three years of progressively responsible experience in mental health services, or two years of experience with a Master's degree.
